Marcela has worked as a legal advisor for more than 15 years in International Law and Public Law. She worked in the Border Crossing Division of the Ministry of Interior and Public Security of the Republic of Chile, participating in major international projects such as the implementation of the new Los Libertadores Border Crossing, Dákar coordination (2013 and 2014) and Patagonian Race©.
In 2014, Marcela moved to Madrid, Spain — where she currently practices — having begun a path of specialization and development in legal areas of growing expansion and interest. She specialized in personal data consulting, which prompted her to obtain an LL.M. in Personal Data Protection at the San Pablo CEU University (2019-2020), graduating with honors.
She has also participated in the Executive Data Protection Delegate Program (2021-2022) at Centro de Estudios Garrigues.
Now and due to her high level of expertise, Marcela was appointed Data Protection Officer in accordance with the Spanish Data Protection Agency’s scheme.
