Professional Experience
Carla has over fifteen years of experience in civil and commercial litigation, as well as in domestic and international arbitration proceedings (ad hoc, CAM Santiago and ICC). She has represented and defended clients in complex disputes across a wide range of industries, including energy, construction, corporate, real estate and unfair competition, among others.
In addition to her active litigation and arbitration practice, she serves as an arbitrator at the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce (CAM Santiago) and at the USMP-CIAR Arbitration Center.
She began her career at CAM Santiago (2010–2012). She subsequently joined the dispute resolution team at Bofill Mir & Álvarez Jana (BMAJ), where she practiced until 2021 and became a partner. Following the dissolution of BMAJ, she joined Jana & Gil Dispute Resolution as a partner, where she remained until early 2023.
